At the Faith Deanna Johnson foundation, we have been busy working on our mission to combat ovarian cancer. We are spreading awareness and its certainly very gratifying to meet and share with each person. We are also thrilled to share the details of our latest events, which have brought us closer to achieving our goals, but also positively impacting the communities and individuals alike.
Simpson Community Day
Recently, we connected with our Newport area community through a vibrant and engaging event that had something for everyone. The Simpson church generously provided valuable resources, including backpacks and school supplies, as well as food, face painting, raffles, and prizes. It was a day filled with fun and support for all ages. At our booth, we distributed teal ribbons and lifesaving literature on ovarian cancer prevention and awareness.

Abundant Life Community Development
This weekend, on August 10th, we’re thrilled to be part of the Community Health Fair in New Castle, dedicated to helping individuals understand their health metrics and reduce their health risks.
We’ll also be raising awareness about the Faith Deanna Foundation and our ovarian cancer prevention efforts, providing teal ribbons, and offering sign-ups for those interested in participating in our upcoming walk. Additionally, guests can enjoy free haircuts, clothing, a BBQ, and enter the raffle drawing.

Quarterly Health & Wellness Pavilion
This event will be held over two days,
in Wilmington, DE: Youth Day on
August 24, 2024, and the main Quarterly Day, on August 25, 2024. Both days will feature free on-site screenings and educational sessions covering various health topics. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about ovarian cancer prevention, maternal health, domestic violence awareness, fitness, nutrition, and diet etc. We invite you to join us for these informative and engaging events.
