OUR MISSION
Faith's parents initiated this organization as advocates for awareness, prevention, education and Early Detection. They are carrying-out the dreams of Faith. The Faith Deanna Johnson Foundation-“Dreams of Faith” has advocated for new - expanded legislation in their state of Delaware to implement screening and testing to be covered by insurance. There is more work to complete, including closing the gap in health care of women in disadvantaged communities. We want Faith's dreams to become a reality, where young women’s voices are heard, when they experience unexplainable pain, which is often ignored, or misdiagnosed by the medical community. Our goal is to increase awareness, such that all stakeholders in the lives of women recognize the often vague symptoms of this disease.

Faith's parents initiated the efforts to incorporate this organization and carry-out her dreams since God reclaimed this Angel in 2021. The Faith Deanna Johnson Foundation-“Dreams of Faith", has a mission to end the lack of education and awareness of ovarian cancer that affects young ladies as well as older women. We are pleased to have just completed our 2nd Annual Walk for Faith & Together in Teal this past September 7, 2024. Our team joined the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition for its Walk again this year.
Our Team - A "Walk for Faith" raised over $4,000
to date for the NOCC's fundraising efforts towards research for ovarian cancer.
Our walks for faith have raised over $15,000 to date.
We are grateful for each donor. We expect to increase our reach each year. The funds raised have supported our national efforts, local grass roots campaigns, raising awareness, supporting advocacy and other community efforts to fight ovarian cancer.
